Farm 501 for Women

Inspired by reports on midwestern cooperative extension program Annie's Project, Washington County extension agent Gerda Rhodes conceived a program to serve farm women of North Carolina's upper coastal plain.  Farm 501 for Women was designed to help women in agriculture - serving a variety of roles on the family farm - to navigate issues of farm ownership and operation.  The program was supported by the USDA Risk Management Agency.

Farm 501 for Women was designed as a six-week series of programs, held from 6 to 9 on Wednesday nights during January and February 2008.  Click the links below to find pertinent information on this program:
