Many rural farmers and landowners face a real challenge in finding qualified professionals who understand the myriad of issues surrounding a family's desire to keep their land in farm or forest production. One of the most common questions asked by participants in our education programs is "Who can I call in my area?" A platform of NCFTN's mission is to identify good professional advisors across the state to whom we can make these referrals. This platform includes training to increase the skills of advisors in serving farm families with various issues related to farm transition. NCFTN's FARMADVISORS Network is developing to meet this challenge.
