- FS004 - We are looking to relocate our farm and business to North Carolina from Maryland. We raise Hair sheep, boar goats, turkeys, and cattle. We also run a livestock trading company too. We are looking for a farm to lease for a long-term lease.
- FS003 - I am seeking 10+ acres of farmland with a home (1200+ sq/ft) with fireplace within 60 min of Raleigh, to begin a full farming operation with livestock and produce. I would like to have several outbuildings serving for animal shelter and storage. The land should have clean water or the ability to drill a well. I would also appreciate if the land contained both timber and pasture.
- FS002 - I have a small cut flower business and am looking to expand. In the short term I am looking for 1 acre or less to rent for the Summer of '05 through '06. Ideally the land will be within 15 miles of Durham, farmed recently (cleared and ready to till), and have a water source. For the long term, I am looking to buy 5-10 acres, with or without a house or other structures, in the Durham or surrounding counties.
- FS001 - We are looking for a 20-40 acre farm that will be available in the next few years. We are willing to wait as we have a longer term view. We currently have a small farm but it is directly in the path of development and we don't want to live surrounded by suburbs. Ideally, we would like a farm with a renovated historical house that is not visible from the road and located adjacent to a protected area (national/state park, etc) so that it will be safe from development for the long term. We would like to stay in the Piedmont.
