LANDLINK Beginning Farmer Resources

NCFTN was formed to help new farmers access resources to get established in farming.  NCFTN's Landlink program of networking, education and assistance includes helping beginning farmers understand and overcome land access challenges, locate skill-developing employment and education opportunities, and build relationships with farm operators willing to serve in a mentor capacity.  This section also contains links to farm opportunity listings, job postings, and other beginning farmer resources and networking opportunities.

About the LANDLINK Database (beta)

The Landlink database is an online, user-managed marketplace for farm opportunities.  The database creates an online marketplace of "farm opportunities" to facilitate the transfer of land and skills within North Carolina's farming community.  If you have land to rent or for sale, a farm job, an internship, etc. to offer a farmer, please describe your opportunity.  Likewise, if you are a beginning or expanding/relocating farmer seeking land, a mentor, a job, or other education opportunities, please post a description of what you are looking for.   We are beta-testing this new tool for farm seekers and farm owners, and welcome your feedback to abranan@gmail.com.
