Keeping the Farm workshop is an annual event that provides information landowners to help determine the best course of actions for the land. From financial planning to estate planning to taxes, the workshop brings together experts with landowners to plot out what can and should be done for your land and your family’s future. Each organization hosting the event will bring experts and resources to help landowners make decisions that suit their individual situation best. Event Partners include: NC Cooperative Extension, Wake County Center, NC Division of Forest Resources, USDA Farm Service Agency, Wake County Parks, Recreation, and Open Space, Wake Soil and Water Conservation District, NC Farm Transition Network, NCSU, USDA Risk Management Agency, NCDA Farmland Preservation Trust, and the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
