The Agricultural Development and Farmland Preservation Trust Fund Advisory Committee has announced it's fall schedule of educational workshops.

The NC ADFP Trust Fund is planning educational workshops on the topic of farmland preservation for November 2007.

These workshops are targeted at county and state government officials, non-profit conservation groups, landowners, and others who recognize the importance of agriculture in North Carolina and are interested in the growth, development, & sustainability of North Carolina farms. 

Topics for the workshops include:  NC ADFP Trust Fund Application Process, Agricultural Districts, Farmland Protection Plans, State and Federal Farmland Preservation Programs & Funding Sources, Conservation Easements & Agricultural Agreements, Farm Transition and Agricultural Development Programs
