Regardless of whether you are a beginning entrepreneur who has recently inherited a business, an experienced farmer who is considering a value-added enterprise, or a retiring business owner who is looking to pass on your farm, business planning is important - so come learn all you can on March 24th from experts in the field!
What: Business Planning 101
When: March 24, 2007, 9am-3pm - Lunch will be provided!
Where: Multiple locations for your convenience in Western NC:
1) MHCR&EC-Fletcher,
2) Bakersville Fire Department, and
3) Tri-County Community College-Murphy Campus in Telecenter Room 117
Participants in "Business Planning 101" will receive a copy of "Building a Sustainable Business, a Guide to Developing a Business Plan for Farms and Rural Businesses." The morning session will focus on teaching you the basics of business planning, and the afternoon session will provide you with a one-on-one coach who will help you with questions and concerns that you have on an individual, private basis. No need to be worried about spilling the beans on your million-dollar new idea!!!
