Founding Organizations
The North Carolina Farm Transition Network, Inc. was organized through the cooperative efforts of a diverse group of state government and non-profit organizations concerned about the continuing loss of family farms in North Carolina, and the numerous costs and burdens this loss brings to our state’s economy, environment, and the health and well being of its all North Carolina citizens, both rural and urban. Representatives from the organizations listed below serve on NCFTN's Board of Directors.
