Resources for Professional Advisers

Many rural farmers and landowners face a real challenge in finding qualified professionals who understand the myriad of issues surrounding a family's desire to keep their land in farm or forest production.  One of the most common questions asked by participants in our education programs is "Who can I call in my area?"  A platform of NCFTN's mission is to identify and network good professional advisers across the state to whom we can make these referrals.  This platform includes training to increase the skills of advisers in serving farm families with various issues related to farm transition.  NCFTN'sRLU 2008 Workbook Cover Rural Lands Update is developing to meet this challenge.
